Do you go out in the rain with the top of your head exposed? The top of the chimney is the most exposed area and it needs the most protection!
Your factory built chimney will usually have a metal cover over the top where the chimney cap rests. This is commonly referred to as the chase cover, and is the chimney’s only protection from water. If you have one, it is important to make sure it is not rusting, pooling water, or leaking.

The only small thing that everyone seeking cleaning services should keep in mind is to turn on your heater or air conditioner to guarantee that the chimney was clean. As a result of renovations, there was some debris inside my chimney and when I switched on the heater after Bay Services cleaned it, there was even more debris. Crew was kind enough to stay and clean until all of the garbage had been removed. good job.

We had this company clean our chimney and were very pleased with the service and professionalism. A few weeks later we had an issue with the flu and when I call their office they had a person at our home within 20 minutes. He assessed the chimney and explained what he thought had happened. No intervention was required and we have instructed the working of the flu and how to manage it. We were not charged for this second visit and were given very helpful information. Excellent service all around.
